Project Objectives

1. Prepare teacher teams to teach inquiry using three core themes.
   1. Aligning contemporary emerging media arts pedagogy across disciplines,
   2. Scaffolding students' inquiry skills, and
   3. Building culturally responsive classroom communities (Hammond, 2014, Edwards, et al. 2011)
2. Increase student engagement and learning through the inquiry process leveraging arts and emerging media to organize knowledge and experiences through educator scaffolding and studio thinking.
3. Support students’ and teachers’ sense of belonging and relevance through culturally responsive arts and emerging media pedagogy.
4. Create infrastructure to support and sustain arts-based inquiry across the curriculum.
